UCL: Man United's Woes Continue

Oct 04, 2023

ucl: man united's woes continue

Man United had a player sent off, as they fell to a 3-2 defeat to Galatasaray in their Champions League tie at Old Trafford this morning.

This means the Red Devils have now lost five out of their last seven games in all competitions.

The latest defeat leaves them without a point, and bottom of their group after two matches.

---

In other selected Champions League results...Lens ended Arsenal's unbeaten start to the season with a 2-1 win over the Gunners.

Jude Bellingham scored one goal and set up another as Real Madrid edged past Napoli 3-2.

Bayern Munich secured a 2 – 1 win over Copenhagen.

While Inter overcame Benfica 1-0.

---

Closer to home, JDT beat BG Pathum United 4-2, for their first Asian Champions' League group win this campaign.

---

And the national contingent has now won 23 medals at the Asian Games --- three gold, four silver, and 16 bronze.

This, after we picked up two bronze medals yesterday via our women’s 4x100m runners and diver Datuk Pandalela Rinong in the 10-meter individual platform event.
