Lai Pei Jing Scam Case: KBS Offers Assistance

The Youth and Sports Ministry is ready to help Lai Pei Jing after the national shuttler fell victim to an investment scam.
Its Minister says officials have already contacted the mixed doubles player to get more information, to find the best way to offer her assistance.
Pei Jing recently revealed that she lost nearly all of her life savings to a scam syndicate.
Meanwhile, cops confirmed they've already received her police report and an investigation is underway.
She, and partner Tan Kian Meng are scheduled to compete in this week’s Indonesian Open.

England are optimistic that Luke Shaw will be fit for Euro 2024.
Boss Gareth Southgate says the left-back is making good progress in his recovery from injury.
He said this, after England beat Bosnia 3-0 in the first of two warm-up matches before the start of the tournament.
They will have another friendly, against Iceland this weekend, before their opening Euro 2024 Group C match against Serbia.
