Liverpool Edge Closer To The EPL Title

Liverpool have taken another step towards the Premier League title, after a 1-0 victory over Everton this morning.

The Reds now have a 12-point lead over second placed Arsenal…with both teams having played the same number of matches.

Liverpool now need just 13 points from a possible 24 to be crowned champions.

In other selected EPL results…Man City had a 2-0 win over Leicester.

Newcastle overcame Brentford 2-1.

While Aston Villa defeated Brighton 3-0.

Barcelona have defeated Atletico 1-0 in the second leg of their Copa Del Rey semifinal to wrap up a 5-4 victory on aggregate.

Barca will next face bitter rivals Real Madrid, who booked their place in the final by beating Real Sociedad yesterday.

This will be only the eighth time there will be an El Classico in the Copa Del Rey final.

Meanwhile, AC Milan and Inter have played out a 1-1 draw in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semifinal.
