Fulham Spoil Arsenal's New Year Celebration

Arsenal have suffered back-to-back Premier League defeats, after falling to a 2-1 loss to Fulham.

The result leaves the Gunners in fourth place, two points behind leaders Liverpool.

The Reds, however, can pull further ahead when they take on Newcastle early tomorrow morning.

In another result, Tottenham bounced back from their midweek defeat, to record a comfortable 3-1 win over Bournemouth.

It leaves Spurs in fifth place, just a point adrift of the top four.

Sources say Atletico Madrid have officially opened talks to sign Man United forward Mason Greenwood.

The 22-year-old is currently on loan with La Liga side Getafe, where he’s had an impressive spell this season.

Relegation strugglers Sheffield United are reportedly eyeing a January move for former Leicester City keeper Kasper Schmeichel…who currently plays his club football in Belgium.
