Zulfadli Zulkifli to appeal against BWF sentence

May 04, 2018

Malaysian shuttler, Zulfadli Zulkifli wants to appeal, after the BWF handed him a 20-year ban for match-fixing.

Zulfadli is maintaining his innocence, and claims that the evidence that the BWF used against him was flawed.

He was found guilty partly based on a WhatsApp conversation he had with fellow shuttler, Tan Chun Seang, who was also penalised.

Zulfadli insists the conversations were about other issues, and not match-fixing.
