Xhaka could be stripped of Arsenal captaincy

Granit Xhaka could be stripped of his Arsenal captaincy following his bizzare outburst during Sunday's 2-2 Premiership draw with Crystal Palace.

The midfielder tossed the skipper's armband before swearing and rudely gesturing to Arsenal supporters after being substituted. 

The club are expected to meet the player in the coming days to discuss his fate, with Pierre Emerick Aubamayang rumoured to be the favourite to take over if the captaincy is taken away from Xhaka.

Pogba sidelined until December

Man United will be without Paul Pogba until December, as the midfielder needs more time to recover from his ankle injury. 

Pogba has not played since United's 1-1 draw with Arsenal on September 30th.

Timmy bowls 'em over

Malaysia's Timmy Tan has won the all-events gold medal at the Asian Tenpin Bowling Championships.

Meanwhile, our women's squad picked up a silver in the team event, while Sin Li Jane contributed a bronze in the women's all-event category.

It takes our overall tally to 5 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze medals.

Federer wants to stay fresh for ATP Finals

Roger Federer has pulled out of the ongoing Paris tennis Masters...to avoid over-exerting himself following his recent victory at the Swiss Indoor Championships. 

The 38-year-old says he needs to stay healthy with the ATP Finals in London coming up next month.
