Wayne Rooney reportedly forced to take COVID-19 test

Wayne Rooney has reportedly been forced to get himself tested for COVID-19.

This, after he was unknowingly visited by a friend who was infected by the coronavirus. 

According to reports, the COVID-19 positive individual went to see the Derby County captain one day before he played in their 1-nil home loss against Watford. 

Its likely both the Derby and Watford squads will need to undergo screening.

Yamaha confirms not replacing Rossi for Teruel GP

Yamaha has confirmed it will not field a replacement for Valentino Rossi for the MotoGP Teruel Grand Prix next week. 

The decision puts an end to speculations that test rider Jorge Lorenzo could be put in the race. 

Last week, Rossi was diagnosed with COVID-19, and is currently undergoing self-isolation. 

Brighton signs former Man U and Arsenal player Danny Welbeck

Former Man United and Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck has joined Brighton on a one-year deal.

Welbeck was a free agent previously, after his contract with Watford was terminated in October.
