Virgil van Dijk pass fit to face Arsenal

Virgil van Dijk is available for Liverpool’s FA Community Shield clash with Arsenal tonight, following a head injury.

The centre-back was forced off during the second half of the Reds’ friendly against Salzburg this week, but is fit for tonight's match.

Meanwhile, Trent Alexander-Arnold may be in contention to play, after missing the Reds’ pre-season training camp in Austria.

New Chelsea signing Thiago Silva's first game with the Blues could be their EPL campaign away at Brighton on September 15th.

The 35-year-old joined Chelsea on a free transfer having left PSG, after their Champions League final defeat last Sunday.

Silva marks the Blues’ fifth signing of the summer, arriving after the likes of Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech.

World No.1 Novak Djokovic will play Milos Raonic in the Western and Southern Tennis Open final, after edging out Spain's Roberto Bautista Agut in the semi-finals in New York.
