Vietnam F1 GP officially called off

The inaugural Vietnamese F1 GP has been officially cancelled, due to the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic.

The race was supposed to have taken place in April, but it was postponed when the coronavirus started spreading globally.

F1 has since organised a rescheduled 2020 campaign, that is mostly set in Europe.

Condensed athletics schedule for 2022 Commonwealth Games 

Organisers say they’ve come up with a condensed athletics schedule for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham UK. 

They believe that this will encourage the world’s top athletes to take part in the Games.

It's because that year’s World Athletics Championship is set to end just three days before the start of the Commonwealth Games. 

The Athletics Championship was supposed to be held in 2021, but it was delayed by a year, to make way for the rescheduled Tokyo Olympics.

Real tried to sign Messi 7 years ago

Real Madrid tried to sign Lionel Messi from Barcelona back in 2013, for a staggering 250 million Euros.

According to a new book by an Italian journalist, Real would have taken the money from funds that were originally meant for their stadium’s redevelopment.

However, Messi rejected the offer because he didn’t want to play for Barca’s biggest rival.
