Vertonghen to stay with Tottenham or leave?

Jan Vertonghen has yet to decide whether to see out the remainder of the season with Tottenham, or to leave before its completion.

His current deal ends on June 30th, and Spurs are offering to extend his contract until the current season is completed.

Vertonghen has attracted interest from Italian sides Napoli and Inter Milan, as well as a number of other clubs in Spain.

Next year’s Olympic Games may be ‘simplified’

Tokyo’s mayor says the format for next year’s Olympics may be simplified, due to the COVID-19 outbreak

The mayor didn’t give any details on how this will impact the games.

However, reports suggest that organisers could reduce the number of spectators.

They could also scale back both the opening and closing ceremonies.

Man United set £10 million price for Marcos Rojo

Man United have reportedly told Argentine club Estudiantes that they’ll have to pay close to 10 million pounds, if they want to make Marcos Rojo loan move permanent this summer.

Reports say that Rojo is keen on staying with the Argentine outfit.

The centre-back joined Estudiantes in January, but only made one appearance before the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the sporting world.
