UEFA reassures fans for Europa League final

May 23, 2017

UEFA have reassured fans that stringent security measures are in place for Thursday's Europa League final in Stockholm.

This, following the Manchester Arena concert terror attack this morning.

UEFA says it has received no intelligence leading them to believe an attack is planned for the final between Manchester United and Ajax.

However, it adds that security measures for the match have already been strengthened since last month's terror attack in Stockholm.

Meanwhile, UEFA, along with the FA and both Manchester United and Manchester City, have paid tribute to all those killed and injured in the Manchester Arena concert tragedy.
