Sterling dropped for England game

Nov 12, 2019

Man City's Raheem Sterling has been dropped for England's Euro 2020 qualifier against Montenegro, due to a reported bust with Liverpool's Joe Gomez.

According to reports, Sterling and Gomez got into a fight at England's training base, after arguing about Liverpool win over City.

Meanwhile, victory in Friday's game against Montenegro will see The Three Lions book a spot in Euro 2020, with one qualifying game to spare.

Initial scans say that Man United's Scott McTominay will be out of action for about a month.

This means the midfielder will miss the Red Devils' upcoming matches against Tottenham, Man City, as well as games against Sheffield United, Astana and Aston Villa.

McTominay, who has been one of United's most consistent performers this season, suffered an ankle injury in United's 3-1 win over Brighton at the weekend.

Former Cardiff boss Neil Warnock is set to retire from football, after nearly 4 decades in club management.

The 70-year-old left Cardiff earlier this week, over a disappointing start to their Championship division campaign, with the Msian-owned club currently in 14th place.
