Tottenham boosted their hopes of a top four Premiership finish, with a 2-0 win over West Ham this morning.
Spurs went ahead thru a Hammers own-goal shortly after the hour-mark...before Harry Kane wrapped up the win with his first goal since returning from a lenthgy injury layoff.
The win leaves Spurs six points off the Champions League places...while West Ham are just off the relegation zone on goal difference.

Another match this morning saw Kasper Schmeichel save a penalty, to help Leicester salvage a goalless draw with Brighton.
Over in Spain...
Lionel Messi will have to wait a while longer to score his 700th career goal, after failing to get on the scoresheet in Barcelona's 1-0 La Liga win over Athletic Bilbao this morning.
Messi, however, did provide the assist for Ivan Rakitic to net the winning goal.

The result moves Barca three points clear of Real Madrid at the top of the table, at least for 24 hours.
Djokovic apologises
Novak Djokovic has issued an apology, after becoming the latest tennis player to test positive for Covid-19.
He is the sixth participant to test positive at the Adria Tour, which he organised.

The world number one said he organised the tournament with good intentions, but admits that it was too soon to go ahead with such a major event, that was held without the usual anti-coronairus safety and distancing protocols adopted by other sports.
