Tottenham are through to the Europa League knockout round despite being held to a 3-3 draw by LASK this morning.

Spurs can also progress as group winners if they win their next match.

Meanwhile, Leicester missed out on the chance to confirm their place as group winners after they were beaten 1-0 by Zorya Luhansk.

They, too, can top their group by winning their final game next week.

Another match this morning saw Arsenal thrash Rapid Vienna 4-1 at the Emirates.

The match was played in front of a small crowd of about two thousand – the first time an English top flight club has had fans in the stadium since March.

Nations League draw

Italy have been drawn to face Spain, while France will take on Belgium in the last four of the Nations League.

The matches will take place in Italy on October 6th next year, with the final to follow four days later.

This will be the first meeting between Italy and Spain in a major tournament since Euro 2016…while the France-Belgium matchup is a repeat of the 2018 World Cup semifinal.

Grosjean crash report ready soon

The FIA says a report on Romain Grosjean’s horrific crash at last weekend’s Bahrain F1 GP will be ready in six to eight weeks.

The motorsports governing body is particularly concerned about how the Haas driver’s car penetrated the barriers… almost trapping him inside the burning wreck.

Grosjean suffered burns to both hands and extensive bruising but was otherwise unhurt.
