Sprint legend Usain Bolt tests positive for COVID-19

Aug 25, 2020

It's confirmed: Sprint legend Usain Bolt has tested positive for COVID-19.

The former Olympic champion announced earlier that he was undergoing home quarantine after being tested for the coronavirus at the weekend.

Bolt also urged everyone who attended his recent birthday party to get tested as well.

The guests included Man City's Raheem Sterling.

This poses a headache for England boss Gareth Southgate, who was expected to name Sterling in his squad for next month's Nations League matches against Iceland and Denmark.

England could drop Harry Maguire

Man United captain Harry Maguire reportedly hopes that he can keep his place in the England team, despite his upcoming court case over a nightclub brawl in Greece.

Earlier reports said that England boss Gareth Southgate is considering dropping Maguire, because the incident could distract the rest of the team.

Southgate is expected to announce his squad tonight.

Chelsea reportedly ready to sign Bayer Leverkusen's Kai Havertz

Kai Havertz is reportedly set to sign a contract with Chelsea, that will see him earning £130,000 a week.

This, after the Blues allegedly agreed a £90 million transfer fee with German club Bayer Leverkusen.

Chelsea are also said to be close to completing deals for former PSG captain Thiago Silva, and Leicester left-back Ben Chilwell.
