Sporting events and venues in England conducting major security reviews

May 24, 2017

Sporting events and venues in England are conducting major security reviews, following the terror attack at the Manchester Arena.

This, as the FA Cup final, the EFL play-offs and the PGA Championship will all be taking place this week.

So far, the Great City Games, an open and free event for the public, is confirmed to be going ahead as planned later this week.

Meanwhile, South Africa's cricketeers say they will not cancel their 3-month tour of England, despite the terror attack.

This, as Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure and his agent are donating 50,000 pounds each, to help the victims of the tragedy.

Among the 21,000 fans at the concert were Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola's wife and 2 daughters, all of whom escaped unharmed.
