Southgate: Why ?

England boss Gareth Southgate has questioned why the Premier League season started so early this time around.

He says the English football league is suffering as a result of returning just 26 days after the World Cup final.

Southgate, who has already lost five members of his squad due to injury, believes it's a matter of players' psychological freshness, rather than physical issues.

PSG interested in MU Goalie David De Gea

PSG are reportedly keen to sign Man United goalkeeper David de Gea, as they are likely to replace Gianluigi Buffon soon.

De Gea, who has yet to pen a new deal at United, has been strongly linked with a move out of Old Trafford, amid reports he's unhappy at the club.
 

And, Liverpool are reportedly the favourites to sign young Cagliari midfielder Nicolo Barella.

It's believed that Liverpool are willing to pay as much as 44 million pounds for the 21-year-old, following his impressive performances for both Cagliari and Italy.
