Search for Sala back on!

Jan 28, 2019

A new private search operation for missing Cardiff striker Emiliano Sala has been launched, days after authorities called off the official rescue mission.

This, after more than 250 thousand pounds was raised to fund the operation.

The Argentinian striker's plane went missing over the Channel Islands last week, just after he signed a deal to join Cardiff.

Solskjaer rules out player exits this month

Manchester United interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says he's not expecting any departures from the club, before the January transfer window shuts later this week.

Defender Matteo Darmian and midfielder Andreas Pereira had both been linked with exits this month, but Solskjaer is confident the pair will earn more playing time.

Solskjaer adds that he just wants talks of tranfers this month to end soon, and focus on improving his players staying at Old Trafford.

F1 teams don't want to launch new cars together

Formula One teams have rejected owner Liberty Media's plans for a joint car launch event.

Instead of letting every team reveal their new 2019 cars separately, Liberty wanted a big, joint event to take place.

However, F1 teams have decided to go ahead with announcing separate launch events, as they don't want to share the spotlight with competition.
