Santokh Singh believes that Malaysia should be represented by players born here

Malaysian football legend, Santokh Singh doesn't agree with suggestions to give foreigners citizenship, to allow them to play for the national team.

Santokh says the Malaysian jersey should only be worn by players who are born here.

He also feels there are better ways to improve Malaysian football, other than naturalising foreign players. 

Currently, foreign-born players with one Malaysian parent are allowed to represent the national team.
