Ronaldo fires Portugal into Nations League final

Cristiano Ronaldo netted a hattrick, to help Portugal to a 3-1 win over Switzerland in the semifinals of the Nations League.

Two of the goals were scored in the dying minutes of the game.

Portugal will now play the winners of tomorrow's other semifinal between England and The Netherlands.

Au revoir

Veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon will leave PSG when his contract with the Paris club expires at the end of the month.

The 41 year old made 25 appearances in all competitions for the French giants as they won the League title.

Buffon has yet to decide on whether to continue playing, but did hint at a return to Italy.

Is Hazard finally off to Madrid?

Real Madrid are reportedly on the verge of securing a deal for Eden Hazard, having agreed a fee of 88.5 million pounds plus additional add-ons for the Chelsea star.

This is significantly lower than the earlier reported figure of 115 million. 

Real are expected to confirm the signing in the coming days, with reports claiming that Hazard will be given the number seven shirt when he arrives at the Spanish giants.
