Roger Federer pulls out of Paris Tennis Masters
Oct 30, 2017
Roger Federer has pulled out of this week's Paris Tennis Masters, all but ending his chances of snatching the year-end world number one spot.
After winning the Swiss Indoors trophy, Federer says he needs to take a break, to ensure he remains injury-free and healthy for next month's ATP Finals.
His withdrawal means Rafael Nadal needs to win only one match in Paris, to end the year at the top of the ATP rankings.
