Pep: I must earn contract extension

Sep 21, 2020

Man City boss Pep Guardiola says he's not signing a contract extension just yet.

Guardiola, who's in the final year of his City contract says he WANTS to stay on, but feels he has to earn the right first.

"This club in the last decade achieved standards, and we must maintain it. To sign a new contract I have to deserve it. We're going to see if I deserve it this season in terms of how the club goes forward and improves".

Chelsea to sign new 'keeper this week?

Is this Chelsea's new 'keeper?

Chelsea are expected to complete the signing of goalkeeper Edouard Mendy from French club Rennes later this week.

Getting a new stopper is reportedly one of Blues boss Frank Lampard's priorities for the remainder of the transfer window.

This became even more urgent, following Kepa Arrizabalaga's mistake in this morning's 2-nil loss to Livewrpool.

Man United rule out signing new defender

United's boss wants new signings, but a centre-back doesn't seem to be one of them

Man United have reportedly ruled out signing a new central defender during the current transfer window.

There have been calls for the Red Devils to buy a new centre-back following their 3-1 loss to Crystal Palace at the weekend.

However, United believe that they already have enough players to provide competition for Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire, and they will instead focus on getting a new left-back and right-sided winger.
