Peaty wins again at World Aquatics Championships

Jul 27, 2017

British swimmer Adam Peaty has defended his 50 meters breaststroke title at the World Aquatics Championships in Hungary.

He clocked in at 25.99 seconds, just 0.04 seconds short of the world record he set in the semi-final.

Peaty now holds the World and European 50 meters breaststroke titles, and world record time.

Earlier at the event in Hungary, Peaty also retained his 100 meters title by breaking his own world record.

This means he also holds the Olympic, World, European and Commonwealth 100 meters breaststroke titles and the world record time.
