Nadal Is Out Of The ATP Finals

Rafa Nadal has pulled out of the season-ending ATP Finals, due to a existing abdominal injury. 

The Spaniard will also use the downtime to have surgery on an injured ankle. 

The announcement comes about a week after Nadal withdrew from the Paris Masters, which saw him lose his world number one spot to Novak Djokovic.

American John Isner will now take Nadal's place at the ATP Finals.
