Midfielder Kevin DeBruyne is also back in training just six weeks after picking up a knee injury, despite earlier being ruled out for three months.

Liverpool interested in Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey?

Real Madrid have reportedly joined Liverpool in the race to sign Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey.

The 27-year-old is widely expected to leave the Emirates either in January or in the summer, after talks to extend his Gunners contract fell thru.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are understood to be interested in Napoli and Poland attacker Piotr Zielinkski, as a possible replacement for Ramsey.

In other news:

The FIA is considering switching the qualifying format for Formula One, from three sessions to four.

The idea is to generate more excitement, because the extended qualifying increases the chances of unexpected results.

The proposal, which is targetted for implementation next year, will now be discussed further by F1 teams and offcials.

And, Naomi Osaka has opened up about her controversial victory at the US tennis Open final.

She says winning the tournament last month was a "bittersweet" moment, that was not her happiest memory.

20-year-old Osaka became the first Japanese player to win a Grand Slam, but her victory was overshadowed by Serena Williams' outbursts at the umpire during the match.
