Malaysian CDM: it's ok

Apr 16, 2018

Commonwealth Games Chef de mission, Huang Ying How is satisfied with the national contingent's achievements despite them not finishing in the top 10.

Ying How says all our athletes showed determination and a competitive spirit, regardless if they won a medal or not.

This, as badminton contributed a gold medal each yesterday, via Datuk Lee Chong Wei in the men’s singles, and Vivian Hoo-Chow Mei Kuan in the women's doubles.

We ended our campaign in Australia with seven gold, five silver and 12 bronze medals to lie in 12th place in the overall medals tally.

Hosts, Australia were the overall champions with 80 gold medals, followed by England.
