Local mixed doubles pair advances to Malaysian Masters semifinals

Mixed doubles pair Chan Peng Soon and Goh Liu Ying have advanced to the semifinals of the Malaysian Badminton Masters in Bukit Jalil.

However, mixed doubles duo Goh Soon Huat and Shevon Lai failed to make the cut.

Hector Bellerin not featured in Arsenal vs Crystal Palace

Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin will not feature in their Premier League match against Crystal Palace tomorrow night, despite resuming light training following a thigh problem.

The Gunners will also be without long-term injured duo Kieran Tierney and Calum Chambers.

Garnit Xhaka stays with Arsenal

It seems Granit Xhaka will stay at Arsenal under boss Mikel Arteta after all.

The midfielder was set to leave the club after his outburst at fans, in an incident which cost him his captaincy.

Xhaka's agent even claimed that he had agreed terms with Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin last month, but it now looks like Arteta has convinced him to stay at the Emirates.
