Liverpool gear up for Arsenal clash

Sep 28, 2020

Liverpool will host Arsenal in the EPL tomorrow morning, in the first of two matches between the two sides this week.

They'll be without skipper Jordan Henderson, as he hasn't fully recovered from the injury which forced him off at half-time against Chelsea.

James Milner is a major doubt due to a calf strain.

Arteta Has No Problems Abandoning the 'Arsenal Way'

Meanwhile Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta says he's happy to take a more pragmatic approach, if it guarantees them a result tomorrow morning.

The Gunners won their last two encounters against the Reds, by abandoning their traditional possession-based approach.

Arteta says his team needs to be adaptable, in order to guarantee success.

"Every game is different. the players we have can change our game plan, and we have to be able to adapt. I think one way in football now doesn't work unless you are very very superior to your opponents every time."

Hamilton Set to Sign New Contract

Lewis Hamilton is "close" to signing a new contract with the Mercedes F1 team.

According to reports, the two sides are closing in on a 3-year deal, that will see the reigning World Champion earning 120 million pounds.

Hamilton's current deal expires at the end of the season, and Mercedes initially wanted to sort out his new contract early in the year.

However, talks were put on hold, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
