Liverpool fought back from a goal down to beat Arsenal 3-1 in their Premiership clash at Anfield this morning.

The Gunners had gone ahead through Alexandre Lacazette after 25 minutes, only for the home side to respond with goals from Sadio Mane and Andy Robertson...before Diogo Jota netted his debut goal for the Reds.

The win ensures the Reds maintain their perfect start to the season, while its the first defeat for the Gunners this campaign.

Elsewhere, Aston Villa defeated Fulham 3-0 to move into the top four.

Clubs to vote on Covid-19 measures

Premiership clubs will vote later today on how to end the season if it cannot be completed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Insiders say clubs are leaning towards voiding the season if between two-thirds to three-quarters of matches cannot be completed.

This comes as 10 people tested positive in the latest round of Covid-19 screening conducted for Premier League players and staff.

There were also opening wins for Dominic Thiem and Alexander Zverev, although fourth seed Daniil Medvedev suffered a surprise first round exit.
