Lionel Messi to appeal against jail sentence

Barcelona star, Lionel Messi and his father will appeal against a Spanish court decision to sentence them each to 21 months jail for tax fraud.

The striker was also fined 2 million euros, while his father got a 1.5 million euro fine.

However, both of them are not expected to serve time in jail, as prison terms of under 2 years can be served under probation, under the Spanish legal system.
