Leipzig stun Atletico to make the Champions League semis

RB Leipzig are through to the Champions League semifinals after a surprise 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid this morning.
The Bundesliga side netted the winner via a deflected shot by Tyler Adams late in the match.
Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann reckons the two-time runners-up from Spain paid the price for an overly-defensive approach to the game
"I think our offensive style of football was the difference today. Atletico didnt create many chances, we didnt have to defend them much in our box. In the end i think we were better in the final third, and we did better in front of the opponent's goal."

This is Leipzig's first ever appearance in the Champions League semis.
They are also the first German side outside of Bayern Munich or Borussia Dortmund to reach the last four since 2011.
Leipzig will take on PSG next Wednesday for a place in the final.
Ron laughs off Barca rumours
Christiano Ronaldo's representatives have rubbished speculation of a possible move to Barcelona.
They insist the Portuguese star is happy at Juventus and has no intention of leaving anytime soon.

Andreescu won't play at the US Open

This month's US tennis Open will be missing its defending women's champion, after Bianca Andreescu announced that she's pulled out of the Grand Slam because the Covid-19 pandemic has affected her recovery from injury.
Men's champion Novak Djokovic, however, has confirmed that he will be playing at the event, making him the favourite for the title in the absense of Rafa Nadal and Roger Federer.
