Leicester set for a potential 150 million-pound boost

May 03, 2016

Leicester City are reportedly set for a potential 150 million-pound boost for winning the Premier League title.

Analysts at sports data and marketing firm Repucom told the BBC, the sum comprises Premier League prize money, Champions League participation cash, and increased match day revenues from ticket and hospitality sales.

The Foxes will also enjoy a higher valuation of sponsorship assets, and a growth in fan bases globally.

Leicester clinched the title this morning, after Tottenham were held to a 2-all draw at Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Foxes striker Jamie Vardy has been named the Football Writers' Association 'Footballer of the Year.'
