Leicester match biggest-ever Premier League win at Southampton

Oct 26, 2019

Leicester are now second in the Premier League table, after thrashing Southampton 9-nil at St Mary's.

This is biggest-ever victory by an away side in the English top-flight's 131-year history, while it also matches Man United's 9-nil win against Ipswich in 1995.

Jamie Vardy and Ayoze Perez both scored hat-tricks, while Ben Chilwell, Youri Tielemans and James Maddison also got on the scoresheet.

Leicester are only the second side ever to have two players score a hat-trick in the same game, after Arsenal in 2003 - also against Southampton.
