Laureus World Sports Award Winners

Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams have emerged the big winners at the Laureus World Sports Awards, where they collected the prizes for Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year.
Both of them won 3 of the 4 Grand Slam singles titles last year, and this is the 3rd time the 2 tennis players have been named the world's top athletes.
New Zealand's All Blacks have been crowned Team of the Year, following their success in the Rugby Union World Cup last year, while their captain Dan Carter has won the Comeback of the Year award.
Brazil's Paralympic swimmer Daniel Dias has received the award for Disabled Sportsperson of the Year.
And golfer Jordan Spieth, who won the Masters and US Open at the age of 21, has won the Breakthrough of the Year award.
Meanwhile, Barcelona forward, Lionel Messi has been named team athlete of the year, just a day after scoring his 500th career goal.
A special spirit of sport award has also been awarded posthumously to Barcelona legend Johan Cruyff, who passed away last month.
The Dutchman, was given the honour in recognition of his work helping to deliver sport-related projects for underprivileged children around the world.
