Klopp: We'll lose sooner or later

Nov 03, 2019

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has dismissed claims that his side can go unbeaten throughout the Premier League season, saying he fully expects his team to lose at a point during the campaign.

This is after Aston Villa came close to ending the Reds' unbeaten run last night.

Villa took the early lead, before Andy Robertson and Sadio Mane scored last-minute goals to give them a 2-1 victory.

Barcelona have confirmed that Luis Suarez picked up a calf injury, in last night's shock 3-1 loss to Levante in La Liga.

For now, it's too early to say when the striker will return to action.

This puts Suarez in serious doubt for the mid-week Champions League clash against Slavia Prague.
--

Man United are reportedly preparing a January move for RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner.

Liverpool are also keen on signing the German international, but the Red Devils believe they have the edge, as they can offer him more regular first team starts.

So far, Werner has scored 13 goals in 15 appearances for Leipzig this season.
