Jurgen Klinsmann keen on taking over Australia's national team

Dec 04, 2017

Former US manager Jurgen Klinsmann is keen on taking over Australia's national team.

This, after Ange Postecoglou quit last month, despite helping the Socceroos to qualify for next year's World Cup.

However, Klinsman could reportedly be put off by the salary, as Australia only have a budget of about 1 million dollars per year for the role.

That would be just half of what the German was paid by the US, who sacked him last year due a poor start to their World Cup qualifying campaign.
