Honduras accuses Australia of espionage

Nov 14, 2017

Honduras has accused Australia of espionage, after accusing the Aussies of using a drone to film their oppponent's training session, ahead of their World Cup qualifying playoff.

The Honduran FA even tweeted footage of a drone flying above Sydney's Olympic Stadium, where the team was training.

The Australian Football Federation, however, says it was not involved in the drone incident.

The two teams will meet in the second leg of the playoff tomorrow evening, after the first leg ended goalless.
