Harimau Malaya urged to stay cool under pressure

Dec 15, 2018

National coach Tan Cheng Hoe is urging his players to keep cool under pressure, when Malaysia travel to Vietnam for the second leg of the AFF Cup final tonight.

Cheng Hoe warns it will be a high-pressure atmosphere playing in front of the Vietnamese fans, but he wants his players to stay calm, and avoid the mistakes they made in the first leg, which ended in a 2-all draw.

Meanwhile, even the Prime Minister has called on Harimau Malaya to bring home the AFF Cup!

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad posted a message on Facebook wishing all the best to the national team, and also urged Malaysian supporters to get behind the team.

Manchester United are facing an uphill task, as they prepare for their Premiership trip to Liverpool on Monday morning.

The Red Devils head to Anfield having won just one of their last five league matches, while Liverpool have yet to be beaten this season.

Much of the focus has been on the tense relationship between manager and players at United, with reports speculating that Jose Mourinho has fallen out with some of his top stars.

However, TV pundit and former Chelsea winger Florent Malouda reckons the issue is being blown out of proportion, adding that one simply cannot write off United's chances against the Reds.

"I think that its wrong to keep the focus on the relationship between the manager and the players. I think United is still United. I will never rate United as underdogs"
