Hafizh Syahrin is set to create history

Feb 22, 2018

Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah is set to create history by becoming the first Malaysian to compete in the MotoGP.

The Sepang International Circuit has confirmed that the 23-year-old has been offered a one-year contract to race with Monster Yamaha Tech3.

He will be replacing German rider Jonas Folger, who's been ruled out for the season due to illness.

Hafizh has spent 4 years in the 2nd tier Moto2.
