Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah wants to quickly forget the Grand Prix of the Americas

Malaysian Moto GP rider, Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah wants to quickly forget the Grand Prix of the Americas, after crashing out of the race in Austin, Texas yesterday.

The Monster Yamaha Tech3 rider, enjoyed a strong start, quickly moving up to 12th in the opening lap and 11th by the fourth lap.

However, disaster struck on the eighth lap as he lost control of his bike at turn one and crashed.

The 23-year-old, who remains in the lead in the rookie standings, admitted that he was disappointed to miss out on collecting championship points.
