The confirmation came from Real boss Zinedine Zidane...who says the club are currently negotiating his exit, adding that its best if the player leaves as soon as possible.

The Welsh international - who lost his place on the Real first team last season - has been linked with Man United, Tottenham and Bayern Munich, although a more likely destination would be the Chinese Super League.
