Frost: Chong Wei can win Olympic gold

Jun 06, 2016

BAM's Technical Director, Morten Frost reckons Datuk Lee Chong Wei has a good chance of winning gold at this year's Rio Olympics.

Frost says that this was proven after the national shuttler won his sixth Indonesian Open title yesterday, a win that saw him reclaim the BWF world no.1 spot from China's Chen Long.

Separately, Frost is confident Msia's top women's shuttler, Tee Jing Yi will be able to recover from an ankle injury before BAM names the final list of players for the Olympics.

BWF has set July 18th as the deadline for entry of players to the Rio Olympics.
