Former F1 driver wins gold at the Paralympics

Former Formula 1 driver Alex Zanardi of Italy has won a gold medal at the Rio Paralympics in the hand cycling event, on the eve of the 15-year anniversary of when he lost his legs in a motorsport crash.
This, as Malaysian weightlifter Mohd Shahmil could only manage 8th place in his category, road cyclist Mohd Khairul Hazwan was 18th in the time trial, and archer Yuhaizam Yahaya lost in the elimination round men's individual compound event.
Meanwhile, the Youth and Sports Minister says, a grand welcome awaits the national Paralympians upon their arrival home at KLIA on September 22nd.
