Chelsea get the better of Spurs

Chelsea recorded a comfortable 2-0 win over Tottenham to help the Blues strengthen their grip on fourth place in the Premiership table.

Willian netted both goals to leave Chelsea four points ahead of fifth-placed Sheffield United...while Spurs remain in seventh.

The match, however was marred by a red card for Son Heung Min, and allegations of racist abuse directed at Antonio Rudiger by the Tottenham supporters.

Elsewhere, bottom club Watford pulled off an impressive 2-0 home win over Manchester United which was only the Hornets second victory of the season.

Liverpool duo on African prize shortlist

Sadio Mane, Mo Salah and Riyad Mahrez are the three candidates in the running for the African Footballer of the Year award.

Salah has won the prize for the last two years but his Liverpool teammate Mane is seen as the favourite this time around. 

The winner will be announced on January 7th.

Rashid wants to start 'em young

Malaysian badminton legend Rashid Sidek says we need a proper grassroots development program to help it return to its glory days...like how football identifies and develops talent from a young age.

He said this, when asked to comment about our junior badminton squad...who came home empty-handed from two major championships this year.
