Champions League:

Mar 08, 2018

Manchester City are through to the Champions League quarter-finals, despite losing this morning's last 16 second leg match 2-1 against Basel at the Etihad.

City had a 4-nil advantage going into the game, and they now reach the last 8 thanks to a 5-2 aggregate win.

This is the first time since 2016 that City have lost a home game.

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur are out of the Champions League as Juventus beat Spurs 2-1 at Wembley.

The first leg in Italy ended 2-all, but goals from Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala in this morning's match sealed a 4-3 aggregate victory for Juve.
