Business as usual for SIC
Dec 27, 2016
The Sepang International Circuit will not be closed for business, despite the fact that it would no longer host Formula One races after 2018.
Its CEO, Datuk Razlan Razali says the govt's decision not to renew the contract with Formula One Management won't effect the usage of the circuit for other activities.
He adds the circuit receives enormous response to organise various events, including non-sports activities.
The Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix would be the SIC's main event after 2018 as they have signed a contract extension with the rights holder of MotoGP until 2021.
