Boss praises younger Liverpool players after League Cup win

Nov 30, 2016

Boss, Jurgen Klopp has praised the younger Liverpool players in his squad after the Reds won today's League Cup quarterfinal match against Leeds at Anfield 2-nil.

"All the young boys did very well. 17,18,19 they did well. Obviously we needed the fresh legs today so it was a mixture of youth and experience and fresh legs."

Divock Origi scored the opener for The Reds, while 17 year old Ben Woodward scored the second goal to become Liverpool's youngest ever goalscorer.
