Bayern Munich have won the Club World Cup final in Qatar, following a 1-0 victory over Mexico’s Tigres.

A second-half goal by right-back Benjamin Pavard was enough to give European champions Bayern their 6th title within the last year.

Bayern have won the Uefa Super Cup, German Super Cup and are now world champions, to complete a clean sweep of trophies after last season's treble.

Meanwhile, Egyptian Premier League side Al Ahly defeated Palmeiras 3-2 on penalties to finish third in the competition.

Man City and Manchester United have been handed away draws against fellow Premier League sides in the FA Cup quarter finals.

City will play Everton at Goodison Park while United face a trip to Leicester City.

In the other ties, Championship side Bournemouth will take on Southampton while Chelsea will host Sheffield United.

In this morning’s results, the Saints booked their place in the last 8 with an impressive 2-0 win at Wolves, while Chelsea edged out Championship side Barnsley 1-0.
