Barcelona launch bid for Mesut Ozil

Barcelona are said to have launched a shock first bid for Arsenal's Mesut Ozil, with the Gunners being offered Barca ace Andre Gomes in exchange.
This, as the Germany international, who's out of contract at the end of the season, is refusing to pen a new deal at the Emirates under Arsene Wenger.
Barca believe Arsenal may be keen to cash in on Ozil for a cut-price fee in January, rather than lose him for free.
