BAM may settle two national shuttlers' match-fixing fines

May 03, 2018

The Badminton Association of Malaysia has not ruled out the possibility of helping shuttlers, Zulfadli Zulkiffli and Tan Chung Seang, pay their match-fixing fines.

However, the national body says it will not make any speculative statements for now.

It also confirmed that a report by the BWF's independent hearing panel on the case, had been referred to the MACC.

Meanwhile, Youth and Sports Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin says the punishment given to both players was fair.

Chun Seang and Zulfadli were banned up to 20 years and fined up to $25,000.
